The Board of Directors is made up of the following persons of competence and distinction who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavours:
Anselm Orazulike
Job Title: Founder, Chairman/Chief Executive
Mr. Anselm Orazulike, Mr. Anselm Orazulike graduated from the famous University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a BSc in Finance (Second Class Honours Upper Division) and Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) also in Finance from the University of Lagos. He put in over 23 years in banking and his experience in this industry covers the entire spectrum of banking such as Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Branch Banking, Public Sector, Treasury and Money Market and Risk Management. As General Manager, FSB Retail, he took the bank from eight (8) branches in 1999 to approximately fifty (50) in April 2004 just before the CBN’s Consolidation Program of Professor Soludo. Similarly, as Chief Marketing/Business Development Officer of Equitorial Trust Bank, he pioneered and revolutionalised the retail and commercial banking segments of the bank moving the bank from fifty (50) branches to well over 120 and increased the balance sheet size from ₦70 billion to over ₦200 billion within the three (3) years he held sway.
He served at top/executive management levels of General Manager and Executive Director respectively in the following banks: FSB International Bank Plc (now Fidelity Bank Plc) and Equitorial Bank (now Sterling Bank) and voluntarily left the banking industry in late 2009 to set up the SPECTRUM GROUP in early 2010 and became its pioneer Chairman/Chief Executive. The group is an emerging local conglomerate with diverse interests in investment management services, marine and shipping services, oil and gas services, real estate, etc.
Apart from core banking courses, seminars and attachments he attended in such banks as Bank of America, USA, Citi Bank of New York, USA, Midland Bank London, and Euromoney/DC Gardner London, Mr. Orazulike is a widely travelled person and has attended several executive and high level management programs in Nigeria, Europe and USA and he is alumnus of the following prestigious and first class business schools:
1. Institute for Business Education (Insead) in France.
2. International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland.
3. Harvard Business School, Boston Massachusetts, U.S.A
He is married with children and loves lawn tennis, traveling, reading and swimming as hobbies and belongs to the following clubs: Ikoyi Club 1938 and Lagos Motor Boat Club, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Samuel Aja-Nwachukwu
Job Title: Director
Sam posseses Higher National Diploma(HND) with Distinction in Accountancy and is a professionally qualified Accountant being an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is a versatile and highly experienced Accountant and Banker having worked with Coopers & Lybrands Associates, Grindlays Merchant Bank, FBN Merchant Bankers and Chartered Bank Plc before joining FSB International Bank in 1997. He is currently Assistant General Manager and Group Head in charge of Retail Banking in the bank. Prior to this he has held the following positions in FSB: Branch Manager Aba branch, Branch Manager Port Harcourt main branch, Regional Manager South-South Region etc. His expertise in banking covers the following: Auditing, Banking Operations, Financial Control, Investment Banking, Treasury and Financial Institutions, Risk Management, Relationship Management and Marketing. Sam will be the Director in charge of Finance and Investment matters in Spectrum Global Markets Ltd. He is married with children.
Engr. Mazi Sylvester L Ezedinma
Job Title: Director
Engr. Ezedinma is a highly qualified engineer and manager with a lot of hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry both in Nigeria and overseas. He has B.Sc (Chemistry) from Howard University, Washington DC, USA and Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware, Newark, DE, USA. Mr Ezedinma worked between 1974-1980 with UOP, Inc. Des Plaines, Illinois USA as Technical Adviser to Oil Refining, Petrochemicals and Gas Processing Industries. Between 1980-1985, he was Project Leader NNPC Petrochemicals Phase 1 Projects and Project Co-ordinator, NNPC Petrochemicals Phase II Projects. From 1985-1996 (almost 10 years), he was MANAGER, Facilities Engineering in NNPC supervising Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron-Texaco, AGIP, ELF, Pan Ocean, Addax etc including their Joint Venture operations with the Federal Government of Nigeria. Upon pre-mature retirement in 1996 from NNPC, Engr Ezedinma became Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Sukon Limited Oilfield. In 1999, he was appointed Group General Manager Business Development of ADAMAC Group in charge of NNPC/NAPIMS/DPR Relations, Contracts Procurement and Contracts Approvals. He left ADAMAC Group in 2004 to become Business Development Director in Xayamaca Technologies Limited. Mr Ezedinma is a Director in Spectrum Global and his portfolio includes: Operations, Engineering and Regulatory approvals. Engr Ezedinma who is an avid tennis player is married with children.
Dr. Fabian Ajogwu (SAN)
Job Title: Director
Dr. Ajogwu is a lawyer by profession and a Senior Advocate Of Nigeria (SAN). He has the following degrees: LLB (Hons), BL, LLM, MBA, PhD, ACIArb. He is the Managing Partner of the Corporate Law firm of Kenna & Associates and personally heads the Firm’s Commercial and Corporate Practice Group including the Energy and Natural Resources Unit. He is responsible for the development of service strategies for the firm for growth and continuity. Apart from a Master’s Degree in Law and an MBA from the IESE Business School (University of Nevarra) in Barcelona, Spain. Fabian is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has experience spanning over a decade in corporate law and practice as well as civil litigation and alternative dispute resolutions. He has built up competencies over the years in the field of Energy and Natural Resources and Corporate restructuring. He has advised the Securities and Exchange Commission on Corporate Governance in Nigerian companies and assisted in drafting a Code of Corporate Governance for Nigerian Companies. Fabian also has extensive experience of corporations having worked on several foreign direct investment projects in the oil & gas, pharmaceuticals and telecommunication industries. He has handled a number of disputes by Arbitration in the oil and transport sectors. With the benefit of practice experience, he currently lectures Business Law as well as Negotiations at the Lagos Business School (Pan African University). Dr. Ajogwu is married with children.
Maureen Amogechukwu Orazulike
Job Title: Director
Maureen has B.Sc (Hons) Estate Management and MBA from IESE Business School (University of Nevarra) in Barcelona, Spain. She has over 12 years post graduation experience spanning the following areas: real estate, finance, banking, investment and financial advisory services etc. She worked with Guaranty Trust Bank for 6 years where she rose to a Relationship Manager/Unit Head. She currently works with Ventures and Trusts – a Venture Capital, Financial Advisory and Investment Management Company as a Group Head. She is also a Director of the following companies: MAURA Ventures, PERIDOT Properties etc. She is also a CONSULTANT to the World Bank/IFC on Small and Medium Enterprises/Businesses. She has attended several management, finance and related courses in Nigeria and Overseas. Maureen is the Director in charge of Administration, Human Resources and Regulatory Liaison in Spectrum Group.
Mrs Josephine E. Amechi
Job Title: Director
Mrs Amechi is a highly successful business woman based in Aba, Abia State. She is a distributor of Seven Up Bottling, Nigeria Bottling Company and Guinness.
